DEC as a joint venture with Interdesign Co., Ltd. and InSpace Co., Ltd. won the master plan development consultancy services of Al Ghantoot Project through an international standard bidding competition set officially and approved by the Client on April 2006. The project is valued at about US$ 1 Billion.

The site is located at Dubai’s border, approximately halfway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in the vicinity of the coming development of Dubai Waterfront and the new International Airport. Its location is at a short drive from both cities and provides perfect peace and quiet ambiance to enjoy the nature of the countryside. Being one of the last pieces of large beachside properties that are invaluable for its natural beauty for the enjoyment of nature close to the cities.

The objective is to create facilities for enhancing quality of life of the people in Dubai and neighboring states by creating a tropical garden in a parkland setting.
