Rajamangala National Stadium

The Sports Authority of Thailand undertook a project to construct the Rajamangala National Stadium in commemoration of 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.

The project was divided into two phases. The Sports Authority of Thailand appointed Southeast Asia Technology Co., Ltd. (SEATEC) to provide consulting services for supervision of construction for both phase I and phase II. Total area of the stadium is 100,000 m2 . The main stadium has been constructed with a capacity of 60,000 seats.

The main structures of the stadium are of reinforced concrete post tensioned with pre-cast slabs. The roof structure is a 50 m cantilever post tensioned member. The responsibilities included the Supervision of all construction works, which include installation of related service system: architectural, civil, structural, sanitary and plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and special system.
